### Speech-Language Pathologist – Clinical Reviewer

### Overview

Dane Street is seeking an experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team of expert clinical reviewers. In this role, you will apply your specialized clinical knowledge and expertise in speech-language pathology to conduct comprehensive reviews of medical records, speech-language evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical documentation and provide objective, evidence-based advisory opinions.

This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist who currently resides in Pennsylvania and maintains an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license to practice speech-language pathology. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical records and speech-language pathology documentation, evaluating clinical assessments and treatment plans, preparing clear and concise clinical summaries, and responding to specific questions from clients related to speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, as applicable to your clinical expertise.

This role involves advisory clinical record reviews only and does not involve peer-to-peer discussions, telephone calls, direct patient care, or treatment.

We are particularly seeking professionals with expertise in:

- Review of medical records and clinical documentation
- Evaluation of treatment plans, therapy recommendations, and clinical progress
- Evidence-based assessment of speech-language pathology services and interventions
- Medical necessity, appropriateness of care, and clinical standards relevant to speech-language pathology

Join a team that values clinical expertise, sound professional judgment, and objective analysis. Your expertise will play an important role in supporting high-quality, accurate, consistent, and defensible healthcare assessments.

Requirements

- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Current, active, and unrestricted Pennsylvania license to practice speech-language pathology.
- Must currently reside in Pennsylvania.

- Experience evaluating speech-language pathology records, clinical assessments, treatment plans, and supporting documentation.
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions.
- Maintains appropriate credentialing, state licensure, and certifications required to perform the role.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to communicate findings clearly, objectively, and concisely in writing.
- Comfortable reviewing complex medical records and applying evidence-based clinical standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet established case review deadlines.

Benefits

- Independent contractor role offering schedule flexibility and predictable work hours.
- Ability to choose case types and workload based on your availability.

- No peer-to-peer calls or discussions.
- No direct patient care or treatment; all reviews are advisory in nature, and no treating clinician-patient relationship is established through the review.
- Streamlined case flow through a user-friendly online work portal.
- Dane Street manages administrative processes, medical record organization, and client communications.
- Fully prepared cases with organized medical records and applicable clinical guidelines.
- Initial training provided, along with ongoing support and a dedicated point of contact.
