Revenue Cycle Reconciliation Specialist

Role: The Revenue Cycle Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for reconciling payments from electronic practice management systems to bank statements, assisting with the reconciliation process, and ensuring timely monthly financial reporting. They act as a liaison for Accounts Receivable reports from systems like EPIC/OCHIN and support various reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly cash summaries and enter payments from bank systems.

• Reconcile Medicaid payments and report to relevant platforms as part of revenue recognition.

• Prepare documentation for deposits and assist with audits.

• Post self-pay and insurance payments into the EPM system.

• Utilize the SFTP site for communication and reports.

• Support department reconciliation and reporting needs, including payment batches.

• Coordinate with collection agencies and serve as backup for team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience with medical billing and payment posting.

• Knowledge of billing for medical, dental, and physician claims.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

• Experience with EPIC/OCHIN billing applications and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Strong organizational skills.
